A lifetime of experiences and untold stories can have us asking new questions as we get older. Where has your journey taken you? Where would you like it to go? What questions are you asking? This story circle invites you to witness and share with others the insights and wisdom that you’ve gathered along the way. You get to claim and name what feels right for you — the parts of your story that you’ve carried with you, and that you want to share.
We gather in a circle, move through a few guided prompts, and spend some quiet time reflecting. Each person’s story gets full attention before we move to the next. Speaking is part of this practice, and so is listening closely. Whatever you bring into the circle that day is enough.

By the end of the day
You'll have told a part of your own story — beautifully unscripted, and in your own words.
You'll have listened closely to other people share their stories.
You'll have spent time practicing holding space for others without judging what they say.
You'll leave with a short reflection or sketch about your time in the circle.
No experience needed. Space is limited to a small group.
WHO IT’S FOR This is for you if you’re drawn to the idea of practicing vulnerability with others. We share our stories and listen to others tell theirs because this is an act of care that we can practice with strangers and friends. This is also a chance to work directly with Kim Wilson, facilitator, and co-editor of We Grow the World Together: Parenting Toward Abolition.
